Properties of our anti-glare glass

Anti-glare glass is commonly referred to as non-glare glass and is oftentimes also used interchangeably with anti-reflective glass. Anti-reflective glass, however, is not quite the same structurally as anti-glare glass.

Our anti-glare glass, with its changed morphology on the nanoscale is manufactured using an advanced technological etching process that allows us to create perfectly surfaced non-glare glass for whatever your application need may be. This manufacturing process results in a uniform and homogeneous glass surface that is ideal for high-resolution glass displays and touch screen display applications.

With manufacturing done on the nano-level, our non-glare glass solutions ultimately allow reflected light to be dispersed away from the glass. This, coupled with our signature etching processes allow us to offer glass that eliminates fingerprints.

These features make our lineup of anti-glare solutions ideal for manufacturers that need glass that will assure touch screens reduce light reflection and drastically help improve the resolution of the transmitted image’s quality.

Main non-glare glass features include:

  • Ability to scattered light in a controlled manner
  • Reduction of the adverse effects of glare
  • Provides true to life colour images
  • Provides a uniform and homogeneous surface structure useful in high-resolution applications
  • Fingerprint resistant

A word on anti-reflective glass…

If you are searching for anti-reflective glass suppliers, know that you have come to the right place. Anti-reflective and anti-glare are commonly used interchangeably. However, they do not describe or denote the same glass, at least from a morphological standpoint.

Fortunately, at Glass Experts we understand precisely what you mean and more importantly, know what you are looking for.

With that said, should you need glass that can be custom designed to meet specific ultraviolet (UV), visible or (IR) spectra, Glass Experts can assist.
